Our national dress embodies the millennial past of our people, ancient customs and traditions, taste, aesthetic views, as well as their own peculiarities. 

Realizing our national values, today, September 13, the “Khan Atlas” festival was held at the Shakhrisabz State Pedagogical Institute. Modern, colorful, and elegant collections of national dresses made by our girls from national fabrics were presented here. There was also a drawing contest on the theme “National costumes are a mirror of our spirituality." The youth got aesthetic pleasure from the exhibitions organized in the fields of folk crafts, tailoring, textiles, and design.

Head of Shakhrisabz district branch of “Craftsmen Union” G. Chorieva, women and girls-activists of “Bogi Bakhor,"  "Kunchikar,"  “Yashil Dyer,” and “Ak Saray” neighborhoods took part in the festival. All female employees, teachers, and students of our institute participated in this festival wearing national costumes made of satin and adras.
