Today, September 19, a seminar on prevention of emergency situations was organized at Shakhrisabz State Pedagogical Institute. Major Abror Vasiyev, head of the Kashkadarya Region FW Management Center, Orif Chulliev, officer of the Kashkadarya Region FW Management Center, and Zafar Berdikulov, head of the Kashkadarya Region Higher Education, Science and Education Department participated in the seminar. The officials explained to the professors and staff of the institute the essence of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from 17.04.2024 № 161 on measures to improve seismic resistance of buildings and structures and seismic risk monitoring.
They also gave general information about seismic condition of buildings and structures, movement in case of earthquake, safe zones and other situations. At the end of the meeting, a video was shown on the topic.
