In accordance with the government decision, Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Innovations O.Mahkamov introduced Sherzod Qalandarovich Nematov, newly appointed to the position of Rector of Shahrisabz State Pedagogical Institute, to the team.

The event was attended by Shahrisabz City Mayor Sh. Buriyev, Head of the Kashkadarya Regional Department of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovations O. Movlonov, as well as the institute's professors and teachers. During the meeting, O. Mahkamov provided information about the career of the newly appointed Rector, Sherzod Qalandarovich Nematov, and wished him success in his responsible position. He expressed confidence that Sh. Nematov would improve the quality of education at the institute and enhance its reputation.
